Each 6r Soaker actually includes 2 inserts :

1 Full size Insert with snap down setting
1 Contoured Newborn Insert
Which allows you to have 6 size / absorbency combinations settings

You can snap the newborn inserts onto the full size insert for secure double coverage.

Newborn contoured diaper eliminates bulk of double coverage but leaves absorbency where needed

Rumparooz's Hemp Fleece is legendary in cloth diapering circles as a super absorbent insert. Unlike most hemp inserts, these are fleeced and therefore won't get all stiff on you, like hemp tends to do.
Hemp fabric is natural, so pre-washing is necessary. (at least 3 times please, preferably once on hot). This insert will get more absorbent with use.

About Hemp : - Hemp is a slower absorber than Microfiber, but it can absorb more fluid and is less likely to give "compression leaking" (leaking when insert is full and baby puts pressure on it the liquid is squeezed out).
The best combination is to use the Microfiber 6R small insert on top of the Hemp 6R large insert - that way you get both fast and maximum absorbency (best for night time diapering)
